ALCOA Building 53 Renovation
Cleveland, Ohio |
Description |
A 56,500 SF interior and exterior conversion of ALCOA’s five-story Building 53 from industrial use to its Corporate Headquarters for the Forged Wheel Products Division. The project was lump sum bid, then Infinity was hired to facilitate start of construction while a $500,000 value engineering and redesign took place. Work included a new five-story glass atrium structure, all new exterior windows, new elevators, the complete fit-out of three floors of office space, and a 3,300 SF lobby on the first floor. All three floors utilized a raised computer system with integral under-floor air distribution system. |
