President’s Message
There is no success in business without gaining the trust of clients, and having reliable and qualified subcontractors and suppliers. This is particularly true in the construction business. At Infinity, we are well aware that our success in recent years and the growth that we have enjoyed must be credited to both our clients and our subcontractors. It is because of your efforts and our partnerships with all of you that Infinity has not only stayed the course in the recent difficult years in our industry, but has in fact grown while others simply tried to survive. For that we thank all of you.
As our ninth year begins Infinity marks the close of the 1st quarter of 2005 with over $8 million in new sales, the strongest 1st quarter new sales figures in the company’s history. Bolstered by the continuing strength of the healthcare market with work at St. Vincent Charity Hospital and Lakewood Hospital, Infinity is also proud to have added University Hospitals of Cleveland and AmeriPath to its growing list of healthcare clients during the quarter. By securing two General Contracting projects on UH’s main campus including the Research Imaging project at Lerner Tower, and adding the renovation and expansion of AmeriPath’s facility in Oakwood Village, Infinity continues to build on its growing resume of healthcare projects.
Other General Contracting projects secured include renovations at Cuyahoga Community College, the Cleveland offices of ARCADIS FPS Architects & Engineers, and the renovation of the offices of the Cleveland Bakers and Teamsters in Independence, Ohio. The CM Services Group closed out the quarter sales by securing the Cleveland office renovations of the law firm of McDonald Hopkins, LPA at the Fifth Third Center building, and the Chapel and Sanctuary renovations and addition for St. Joseph’s Church of Strongsville, Ohio.
In February Infinity completed the interior renovation and construction of the 90,000 s.f. Corporate Headquarters of ICI Paints in Strongsville, Ohio, and in March the company was again recognized by the Construction Employers Association (CEA) and OSHA as an “Elite” Contractor under their Safety Partnership program in Cleveland, Ohio for the fourth year in a row.
