Pre-Construction Planning

INFINITY Preconstruction Services Group provides planning and budget services as well as special studies services designed to evaluate the feasibility of the project.  Infinity believes that key decisions made by the owner, architect, Infinity partnership in the Preconstruction Phase of a project can determine more than 90% of the project’s ultimate total cost. Therefore, investing a significant amount of time and resources by this partnership at this stage of a project is vital to its success in time of completion and cost effectiveness.

Infinity’s in-house Pre-Construction Services department develops budget estimates and tracks project costs from conceptual design through final construction documents.  This process may include alternative design analysis, value engineering, cost benefit analysis, material selection studies, constructability reviews, LEED compliance reviews, as well as studying the effects of project phasing, site logistics, existing conditions, material lead times and labor availability on budget.
Prior to starting any project this service group can be involved upfront with the owner to evaluate multiple building sites for new construction or several existing building locations for fit design budgets for tenant improvement and renovation projects.   Infinity will also review lease and/or purchase documents and advise the owner how these documents and agreements may affect overall construction cost. 

Finally, Infinity will provide preliminary project schedules to evaluate schedule related costs as well as construction cash flows to assist in financial proforma evaluations.
