BGSU Huntington Building

This 34,931-sf project was a three-phased renovation of a single story existing University administration building for eight University departments including human resources and accounting groups, and the Emergency Management Command Center. The scope of work included extensive site work, building exterior replacement, selective demolition, interior finish renovations, new rooftop units, and major rehabilitation upgrades of existing HVAC, electrical and IT systems, and conversion of a 4,000-sf garage into office space.

This project demanded the highest standard of interior finish construction including millwork and floating ceilings.  The project was phased to allow two of the departments to continue to occupy the building while construction continued.  We temporarily relocated other staff to a trailer outside of the building for the final phase as no swing space was available.  Used OAKS-CI system on this project.  Returned $28,483 in unspent contingency and allowance.  Project LEED® Silver certified.
