As Construction Manager At-Risk, Infinity performed interior demolition and re-construction of 3-floors in Cleveland’s preeminent Class “A” office building, Key Tower. Through multiple phases and moves we re-stacked the building while performing cosmetic renovation to 8-additional fully occupied floors. Those improvements included carpet, paint, finishes, wall relocation, and new offices.
Infinity joined the Project Team at the beginning of the design process, to coordinate the budget and scheduling process from initial programming through close-out. We completed this project in just over six months working during the day in the 3-vacated floors, and second shift on the occupied floors. We orchestrated the renovations by dividing each floor into mini-phases. We installed temporary protections in each work area, lifting employee workstations to install new carpet, and returning each space nightly in undisturbed condition until the work completed. Despite the complexity, we returned GMP savings that he Owner reprogrammed for additional scope. Self-performed rough and finish carpentry and drywall.
