Cleveland College Dormitory Renovation

Project details

Infinity served as General Contractor to replace the windows, roof and exterior masonry of the 30,000-sf Alpha-Phi Sorority House, known as the Magnolia House.  The project also included selected interior renovations.

This work was completed in 88-days during the University’s summer break and available again for student occupancy by the start of the academic year. We worked through the complications of replacing the roof and exterior walls during an exceptionally rainy summer. Project ecountered unknown conditions requiring gas line repairs, basement waterproofing, foundation work. We coordinated the work of multiple trades on this very logistically challenging site employing a third-party safety consultant. Infinity self-performed drywall and ceilings. Owner accepted $31,100 of our estimator’s value-engineering recommendations. We delivered the project within $15,000 of the original budget.
