Cleveland Extended Care

Project details

Infinity served as Construction Manager at Risk for this project which transformed the Benjamin Rose building into a three-level extended care facility.    A new medical gas platform with exterior storage tanks was constructed, and new medical gas headwalls were added to all rooms. The bathrooms were renovated to become ADA compliant along with all electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. The generator was upgraded to allow the building to run on 100% generator power if needed. New flooring, nurse stations, and nurse call system wereinstalled on each floor.  Total square footage was 39,230-sf.

The original intent of the project was resident room renovation. Late in the project the Owner Kindred added an onsite pharmacy, and dialysis center for patient use more than doubling the project’s value.  Infinity self-performed installation of oudoor gas platform, interior demolition and rough carpentry. Created negative air pressure in construction areas with HEPA filter systems to avoid the migration of dust and smoke throughout the building during renovations. Achieved 29% diverse subcontracting participation.
