Infinity served as Construction Manager At-Risk for this new 60,150-sf, three-story structural frame clad with curtain wall glass and architectural composite zinc and aluminum panels. It includes a two-story lobby with two monumental staircases, brick pavers at all entries, and terrazzo flooring. A digital BMS system automates the building’s energy management. Site work included underground utilities, underground detention system, retaining wall, demolition of an old existing walkway bridge, and construction of a new vehicular and pedestrian bridge over an existing stream that flows into Porter Creek. This is the second building (the first appears in the background) that Infinity has completed on this campus. Huntington Bank was a $1.7 million, 8,500-sf tenant build that completed on time and within its GMP in four months. IMCD was a $4.1 million, 27,692-sf tenant build delivered on time, but required install of HVAC equipment after tenant occupancy due to Covid-disruptions that closed the supplier’s plant for more than 2-months.
This project was exceptionally fast-tracked for completion in 9-months. It required off-shift work hours to accelerate completion. Diverse subcontracting participation between the three projects averaged 36%.
