Financial Services Office Renovation

Project details

Infinity is serving as Construction Manager At-Risk for this international financial services consulting leader who is building-out its space on the top floor of a new office building within the new Scioto Peninsula Development in Columbus.   The scope is designed to support a hybrid work environment including virtually no traditional offices.  There are two larger conference rooms, eight collaborative enclaves, four teaming rooms, five private focus rooms for temporary use, a design studio, large café and lounge, server room, restrooms, support rooms and an outdoor terrace.  The project features very high-end finishes, design features and incorporates extensive technology.

This will be the fifth project Infinity has completed for this client since 2004.  Due to protracted lease negotiations, between the Owner and Landlord, the project started two months late in January .  2022 compressing the original schedule from 7 to 5 months.  While we have been able to re-sequence, and use overtime to accelerate progress, the start delay is pushing delivery of materials to very end of the schedule, when multiple shifts may become necessary.  On top of the schedule delay Covid-related  due to Covid-related construction material disruptions, and may require multiple shifts.  Some of the final finishes will not arrive until after Owner occupancy.
