Infinity served as Construction Manager At-Risk to construct this new $4.8 million fire station at the intersection of a high traffic area at Mayfair and Rayburn Road. This building houses 4 fire response units, a medic unit and a chase vehicle to serve the residents of Green. The interior space includes a firefighter turnout gear locker room, training room, administrative offices, showers, restrooms, sleeping quarters, commercial kitchen, dining room, and outdoor patio. It includes an adjacent firefighter training tower. The project required extensive utility relocation, removal of trees, import of soil.
Infinity delivered this project $55,000 below the Guaranteed Maximum Price. One of our value engineering recommendations concerning the roof saved more than $110,000. The project field start was delayed by City permitting issues from the original start date of April 2019 until August 2019. The project features a unique sustainable, time and cost saving application of structural clay brick that incorporates foam insulation and does not require a backing wall. Infinity performed building enclosure during the winter.
