New High School/Middle School Campus

Project details

Infinity is serving as Construction Manager at Risk on this project for the Warrensville Heights City School District, which began field construction in October 2020.  The scope includes demolition of the existing MS, and partial demolition of the existing high school plus renovation of its recreation center, auditorium, and science wing.  A new 137,042-sf High School/Middle School links the structures back together.  Additional new scope includes a planetarium, 1,500-seat football stadium, 2,100-seat sports arena, bus garage, and maintenance facility.  The project will secure LEED® certification of at least Silver or greater.  The scope also includes abatement and demolition of three existing middle schools at other locations.

Our CMR team includes the same diverse-owned Associate CM partners as the previous  PK-5 project.  The existing adjacent HS/MS remains occupied.  Our early site package allowed the main building construction to begin in early 2021.  Infinity fully coordinated the construction drawings in BIM prior to bidding to generate the most competitive subcontractor pricing.  This has enabled very efficient field construction.  The site and building GMPs met the District’s budget.  Diverse subcontracting participation is in excess of 35%.
