Infinity served as Construction Manager for this project which included gut renovation of the entire building damaged by fire. Scope includes a new roof, new brick veneer and vinyl siding, new HVAC, new offices, and new ADA compliant restrooms, new commercial serving kitchen, and new connecting entry to the future new church sanctuary. The project also required several building code upgrades including new electrical service, draft fire stopping in the attic, a new fire alarm system, and making the new entry a two-hour fire wall for connection to the new church when it is rebuilt.
Infinity was selected before the architect on to lead almost a year of preconstruction services which included several rounds of value engineering and insurance negotiations, to arrive at a GMP that the Church could afford. We delivered the project in just four months completing it one week ahead of schedule. We returned $18,000 of GMP savings and unspent contingency that allowed the Church to fund add alternates for the work. Achieved 24.75% diverse subcontracting participation. Project included weekly meetings with the Church building committee, and twice monthly after-hours meetings with the Church Board.
