Infinity is serving as Construction Manager At-Risk for this renovation, which involves the client relocating from Wickliffe to 9500 Tyler Boulevard in Mentor. Phase 1 – was 8,000-sf of office renovations and finish upgrades including restrooms and locker rooms. This work, completed in slightly under two months, allowed the client to set up administrative and shipping as soon as possible. Phase II – was the 80,000-sf warehouse and production renovation, including labs, storage rooms, boiler room, maintenance shop, bulk tanks, packaging and shipping areas. This new space received a polished concrete floor, racking, and lighting modifications. We also replaced most of the utility infrastructure including a new boiler plant, water and sewer piping, and electrical upgrades. Phase III completes by March 2022. It involves piping to all of the tanks, a catwalk system, and additional items.
Infinity provided four GMPs for this project for offices, firewall, infrastructure upgrades and process piping. Phases II and III are taking place within the building now occupied. At the completion of Phase II, the entire project is under budget with only $1 million left to spend for the process piping. Achieved 29% diverse subcontracting participation.
